It does seem like a few good pros can make a little while paying huge rake fees, and the vast majority of players have no chance. Considering this, I now see why online poker was banned.
I wouldn't be surprised if 90% of it ends up as rake. So, if 10 people deposit $500 playing $25 zoom, how much do you think the winning player leaves with? I feel like more the majority of that money is taken in rake. While it might be possible to win, it seems like you will pay in much in rake as you win. It really makes me feel they have a rigged so that there are almost only losing players. If you get better and play a lot, and become a winning small stakes player, no doubt your PVI also drops to 0.7 or less, which means you will get less money back for 35% than 25%. This is because when you start and are not good you might have a PVI of 1.5 or 1. That seems dishonest when the actual amount you receive for 35% rake back may well be less than the 20% you were receiving. It's really annoying that they say get 20% rake back, but if you play a huge amount you can get 35%. I am not evening winning on GG poker ATM, im a small loser currently.
